While in Brampton for the #YeahYA book signing (see my post about it here: hercreativefiles.tumblr.com/post/54891052668) I bought some books. Two of them were specifically for the signing: DARK KISS by Michelle Rowen and PUSHING THE LIMITS by Katie McGarry.
If there are multiple authors at a signing, I feel obligated to have at least one of every one of their books. I just feel really bad, even if they don’t mind, when I don’t have one author’s book, like they’re left out. So I bought PUSHING THE LIMITS. I bought DARK KISS because even though I technically had one of Michelle Rowen’s books, it wasn’t technically a Michelle Rowen book. I brought FALLING KINGDOMS which is by Morgan Rhodes, one of Michelle’s pen names. FK is also not a Harlequin Teen book and this was a Harlequin Teen event, so I bought DARK KISS.
In addition to these I bought THE OATHBREAKER’S SHADOW by Amy McCulloch because I really, really want to read it. My reasons are in this post: hercreativefiles.tumblr.com/post/52497785048
(NOTE: Horrible photos, I know, but I don’t want to wait for tomorrow, so this is the best you’re getting)
